Yesterday we reported that Battlefield 1 will deliver six multiplayer factions to launch and that the missing French will later be added as an extension. Now an interview with one of the developers has surfaced, in which he not only confirms that France will be added in an expansion, but that it is also a premium extension . In other words, if the developers did not even begin to use completely new terms, then Battlefield 1 will also get Premium.
Too surprising, this announcement comes not of course: The last three Battlefield titles had already Premium, which for 45 to 50 euros access to all DLCs (aka: 20 maps, X weapons, vehicles and modes) and a few small bonuses brought. As long as the content is correct, you probably will not be able to say anything – apart from criticizing the splitting of the community …. Something more interesting are just two small circumstances: For the first time a premium DLC will bring a completely new faction (Note: For Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2, there were already new factions in the extensions); In addition, free maps are already confirmed. Even apart from the six factions for the launch DICE thus goes ways that do not necessarily remember the last three titles.
